The varsity Masconomet Lady Chieftains had a huge win last night to take home the NEC champion title. 

  The team defeated Marblehead 49-34 right here at Masconomet High School winning their seventh game in a row. 

  Angie Lalikos scored 13 points for the team, the highest amount of the night, and also had 7 rebounds. 

  Mia Theberge brought in 12 points and 8 rebounds while contributing 3 assists. 

  Remmi Cote accomplished a team high of 9 rebounds and also added 4 points and 3 assists for the team. 

  The team hasn’t won their conference in a while so the win meant all that more to them. The girls celebrated in the locker room after the game and will now prepare for their playoffs.
