Bruno Mars recently released his new album, The Romantic. Along with the album, he also announced that his tour tickets are going on sale.
Mars first gained recognition when he collaborated with B.o.B, making the song Nothin’ on You, as well as his own song Just the Way You Are. He then became most popular in 2014 and 2018 when he released his songs’ Uptown Funk and 24k Magic era.
Fans have been waiting nine years for Mars to release a new solo album, missing his tour from the 24k Magic Album. However, he did release a bunch of singles, which include Die With a Smile with Lady Gaga, APT with ROSÉ, and Bonde de Brunao, all in 2024, as well as a variety of more in 2017-2019.
In between the years, Mars performed in multiple shows, which include the 2014 Super Bowl, where he performed his hit song Locked Out of Heaven where we saw Red Hot Chili Peppers come out as a guest appearance, and later in 2016, Mars joined Beyoncé’s and Coldplay’s performance at the Super Bowl as a guest appearance.
Mars has appeared on shows like SNL, Lip Sync Battle, Sesame Street, and The Voice. He also performed his new songs I Just Might and APT with ROSÉ at the 2026 Grammys.
Old fans were excited to see what he had to bring with the new album, especially since he released of one of his new songs, I Just Might, and it blew up immediately, being followed by Risk It All, and Cha Cha Cha, after being released in late February.
I Just Might has reached the most popular song on his profile, but is still behind most-streamed, trying to win its way up and bump Die With a Smile out of the way with 3,497,151,368 streams.
These songs have been getting all the hype on social media, immediately after being released, with people making dance videos to them and promoting the songs, which definitely got my approval.
For the romantic, Mars was deeply inspired by his Puerto Rican background, giving his songs a salsa and bolero rhythm, honoring his father for all he has learned from him.
Fans have been remixing his hit song Risk It All with various Latin songs. The mix that received the most recognition was Adios Amor by Christian Nodal, a Maricachi bolero, whose style fits seamlessly with the track.
Many are hoping the tour will include old classic songs like That’s What I Like, Locked Out of Heaven, and When I Was Your Man. Mars is known for his high-energy performances, making his concerts feel more like a full show instead of just a regular performance.
After nearly a decade without a solo album, Mars return feels like a major moment for both longtime listeners and new fans. The Romantic era has all the signs of becoming one of the most memorable moments of his career.
